Resources in the Community



The Immigrant Learning Center located in Malden Square, offers English classes and computer training at no cost to adults, but there is always a waiting list. Malden residency is not required and they serve over 20 cities and towns. They do not offer a GED course, but help their English learners prepare for the GED tests. They do offer two Citizenship classes at no cost. All classes are held during the day.

Partnership for Community Schools offer ESL on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Ferryway School, cost is $85 for a 10 week session and is open to all adults.

The Malden Public Library has a good selection of ESL, GED, and Citizenship books for residents to borrow. They also have some Citizenship information on DVDs
